The IOHK has updated the entire Cardano community about the status of the three critical indicators responsible for the implementation of the Hard Fork.
They have revealed that it is the status of the three indicators that will determine what would be the best time to implement the Vasil upgrade.
Vasil Upgrade is taking over Cardano Blocks
The Vasil upgrade has taken over almost 75% of the total mainnet blocks. The Vasil has also been implemented on 25 exchanges that account for 80% liquidity.
Even the top decentralized applications that run through the mainnet have been upgraded by the Vasil Hard Fork.
Binance has also Upgrade Cardano Nodes
The IOHK also confirmed that several cryptocurrency exchanges have also started to upgrade their nodes to accommodate the Vasil Hard Fork.
Binance, the biggest crypto exchange in the world has also upgraded the nodes for Cardano on its platform.
For now, the IOHK is reaching out to 25 different cryptocurrency exchanges for upgrading the Hard Fork. These exchanges will need to upgrade the Cardano nodes at their end to accommodate Vasil.
If the targeted exchanges upgrade their nodes to Vasil, it would mean ADA’s 80% liquidity is all set for Vasil.
DApp Status
In terms of the DApps on the mainnet, the IOHK confirmed that they would continue working very closely with the teams responsible for operating DApps.
So far, 4 out of 10 DApps have confirmed that they are testing the Dapps against the upcoming upgrade.
